Many chemical compounds bind oxygen or release it - often through interaction with other chemical compounds. In this process the ambient gas can play an important role. This applies particularly for oxidation and reduction processes during heat treatment. Such processes can be evaluated by means of measuring oxygen in gas atmospheres.
Measuring and control oxygen
METROTEC specialises in the detection and monitoring of oxygen in gases down to the ultra-trace range. Measuring oxygen in the percent range as well as trace measurement in theppm and ppb ranges can be done within seconds without negative impact on the sensor system.
Oxygen measurement
in the percentage range to trace measurement in the range of ppm and ppb can be achieved within a second without disadvantages to the sensory installation.
Aerospace
METROTEC has developed a prototype for the planned OCS, an open- and closed-loop controlled gas generator, as well as the oxygen sensors.

METROTEC was established in October 1989 with one’s headquarters in Zell u.A. Already from the beginning we have produced oxygen measuring and control devices by ourselves and we have also marketed devices from our partners.
1995, sales increase forced us to move to Kirchheim, Willi-Bleicher-Straße. Due to repeated lack of space in September 2000 a move to the new METROTEC-building, Heinkelstr. 12 took place where more than three times of area for production and office is available.
Most of our regular customers are located in the German-speaking area. Good contacts in Europe, the USA and the Asiatic area indicate a high specialisation and good quality. Not only the certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 which we already got 1995 contributed to our success in winning companies such as Daimler, VW, Opel, kabelmetall, Wieland, Villeroy & Boch, Siemens, Bosch, Honeywell etc. as customers.
